What is Die Casting? Part.1

About Zinc Alloy Die Casting

Zinc alloy die casting is a common metal molding technique that uses zinc alloy as the raw material.

Molten zinc alloy is injected into a mold at high pressure and then cooled and cured to form the desired part or product.

The following is the basic process of zinc alloy die casting.

1.Material Selection:

Zinc alloy is a commonly used die casting material with excellent fluidity, thermal conductivity and mechanical properties.

The zinc alloys offered by HF-TI include Zamak series (Zamak 3, Zamak 5) and ZA-8, which can be selected according to customer’s specific application requirements.

2.Zinc alloy die casting machine

Zinc alloy die casting machines are categorized into cold die casting and hot chamber die casting.

The simple distinction between cold and hot chamber die casting depends on whether the die casting machine is connected to a furnace or not.

The hot chamber die casting machine is used for HF-TI, which can realize high production efficiency because the metal remains in liquid state.
